My grandfather recieved, what we think, was a bravery award during ww2. I can remember my grandmother mentioning this but my grandfather would never talk about it. Unfortunatly, they have both passed away. Would there be any way I can find out what the award was for? I hope someone can help me Paula |

Medal Rolls (lists of who got what!) are at the PRO or Society of Genealogists. If you know the Regiment involved, you can contact them and they may be able to help. |

I'd like to find out about my grandfather's medals too. Unfortunately, his father threw them away, so I don't know where to begin. |
