Hello, I would like to remind everyone about parish registers at the your libraries. You will be amazed at what information you can find out about your ancestors. The book. Original Parish registers in record offices and libraries for ENGLAND and WALES which I read in my library dated 1974 was was obtained from Tawney House Matlock Derbyshire. It gives reference of where to find parish registers. Hope this helps. Shirley |

Yes I agree with you the info i got was brill opened up anew search for me. The registers that i looked at were from 1860 and they were all hand written. It is must for you if you are hitting that brickwall. regards jackie |
