Please would someone look up William Hammond Darlington On the 1881 census he was a widower living in Brunswick Street with Horner Family? Thansk Ann,Darlington |

You didn't give an approximate age, so I checked it for 1881 (55). There is no-one of the correct age (65) in Darlington in 1891, nor is there anyone in the rest of the country of about that age who has any obvious relationship to Darlington. Perhaps he was dead by 1891? Stan Driver |

Hi Norman I'm sorry about the age!! I think he may have died about 1897 there is a William Hammond in the Cemetery records who died at the age of 72 in the Workhouse,I just wanted to see where he was in 1891. I am having a struggle with him and his wife trying all angles to find his marraige. Thank you anyway I think I will chance sending for his death cert regardless. Ann,Darlington |
