A Great aunt tells me my Great Grandfather Thomas Reynolds O'Doherty (bn 1874 Whitby, Yorkshire) was at sea for five years and went to New York in the 1900s. She's not sure of the exact date, but I wonder if any of you kind people with access to American records can see if you can find him. Thomas was an engineer and I am led to understand he was involved in shipping and road building. Paul |
