If a Death certificate is produced and the father's name is on it does that mean he is still alive?I think we've had this before!! Ann,Darlington |

Just dug out a few death certs to see and I do have one for a 22year old lady that gives fathers name and occupation,and then deseased in brackets underneath. All my other ones were married people,so no mention of a father at all. |

Thanks Diane I recieved a marraige cert today and brides father's name is on it but when I went to look on Family Search for her birth and then her father's marraige it shows --if it's the right one--that he died before she married. Other wise every thing fit's Ann,Darlington |
