My Great-Grandmother's brother used to run this pub. His name was Charles Timbrell born in 1891 (my g-grandmother was Alice Timbrell) and as far as we know he became the licensee around 1939. Does any have any info on this pub, or useful websites about the pub industry? Is it possible to write to the brewery for more info? I've tried the Gloucestershire Pubs website but it doesn't have much info on the licensees. Any advice appreciated! Thank you! |
