Could any kind person check this for me please, George Wilson age 36 and his wife Mary age 28 in Spennymore,Im looking for the children,,possibly a Mary.and Alfred and anymore they may have had. Lots of thanks to anyone who can help Claire |

Claire, If you have no luck on here thought I would tell you, I phoned the Durham records office for my 1861 census, they were really helpful, and sent a copy of the entry for only £2. Kim |

I don't know if this helps but on the durham website it shows a marriage between a George Wilson and a Mary Parkin or Mary Appleby, usually when two names are shown it means that one is the maiden name and then the other usually means they have been married before, this happened in 1846 in Durham Central. I hope this info is of some help Liz It also shows a Alfred born in 1847 in Durham Central, but unfortunately there are too many marys to look at |
