Teresa Don't worry, you haven't done anything wrong. If someone posts on the board, you can click on their name and it tells you HOW MANY people are in their tree. It will NOT show you their tree. It also gives you the option to emailing them directly (without showing their email address) Rachel |

I've just noticed something and had to mention it. George - 4525 people in your tree??? Oh my God! I was so impressed that I just had to say something. Congratulations. It did make me wonder though, who has the most people in their tree? I thought that I was doing okay with over 200 but now, its made me put that into perspective. George, how far back does your tree go? You must have nearly connected whole villages!! Seriously though, well done! Rachel |

The messages go to the top of the board so that if anyone answers them, the person who placed the query will easily be able to find their query and the replies. It is also helpful if you are trying to keep track of a certain thread if someone has asked something that could help you - it saves you trawling through all the messages. If you reply to people direct, this will stop the thread moving when you have replied to it, but they still move when anyone else answers them anyway so... does it really help to do it direct? This way, everyone can see the replies. Please don't think I am being "nit-picky" and getting at you - I just wanted to explain that we are stuck with the moving messages whether we reply direct or not. You soon get used to it! |
