i'm sure this site must have been put on the tips board before, but i've just found it, for all those who are not sure where far off towns and parishes are just go to www(.)findachurch(.)co(.)uk it even gives you a map with the nearest motorways on.

Thanks April, that's a great site. I love to visit the churches where weddings and baptisms happened and check out the tombstones. This is better than craning to see the steeple while driving cos you don't know where the church is!! Maz. XX
