Thanks for that David, but I can't confirm that this is my Patrick Boland without knowiing his wife's name! Hopefully someone out there will have the 1871 census and let me know - please!! Penny |

Hi Penny, I don't have 1871 but found the following on LDS for 1881:- Patrick was widowed and living at 2 Front Yard, Leeds with daughters Margaret(19), Ellen(17) and Annie(13).John was living at Springfield Place, Low Lane, Horsforth, Leeds with wife Agnes(24) and sons William(7), Albert(2) and John(1). Hi I'm still looking for John Boland, born 1851, father Patrick Boland. As he didn't marry until 1873 I'm hoping that he was still at home during this period. Any info would be welcome please. I believe Patrick was born in Ireland (Sligo?) but I'm not sure. Need wife's name, and any siblings please. He married Agnes Kay, so she might be floating round too! Thanks you all so much for all the help you give us. Penny |
