Many thanks Chris, I'm pretty certain that is them. I forgot that they would be living at Easington Lane rather than West Rainton as my gt-grandfather, Joseph Thompson was born the year after in 1862 in Easington Lane. Once again, my thanks Andy. |

If anyone has time then I'd also very much appreciate a look-up from this census. I'm looking for Joseph THOMPSON, aged 31, a coal miner/colliery overman, born Hetton Houses and his wife, Ruth THOMPSON, aged 30, born Middle Rainton. They did live in West Rainton so that's probably where they'll be on this census. Thanks in advance, Andy. |

I would be grateful if someone who has access to this census could do a look up for me please.I am trying to find a Henry Macbeth, who would of been aged 40 and his wife Elizabeth age 33.I think they had 5 children,Elizabeth,John,Matthew,Henry and maybe Mary, ages ranging from 14 to 6.I have them on 1851,living with Henrys brother John and his wife Eleanor but cant seem to get them on 1861.Thanks in advance Anna |
