Would someone please help me to locate Mary Kearton, age approx. 54, born Muker. Possibly a housekeeper. If she is found in the Low abbotside or Bainbridge area, are there any Dinsdales living near by/ Thanks in advance Hazel |

Hi Hazel, Sadly I am unable to offer you a 1871 lookup but if you type in www.geocities.com/beaulands/census/framepage1.html you will find all the census, apart from 1871 for the area you are looking. There are loads of Dinsdales in the area, I have some in my tree but am unable to locate the key one, who died when my gg grandmother was a child. I looked on the Muker census for 1851 and there were quite a few Kearton on it. Sorry I could not help but maybe you will find some info. Gen PS failing the above website not coming up go to genuki bainbridge and click on Christine Amsden's census and you will get the pages you want. |

Thanks, Gen. You have been more help than you perhaps realised. Have Christine Amsdens site in my 'favourites'. Hazel |

Hi Hazel, I am glad I could be of some help, at times it is more interesting trying to solve other people's tree than it is my own, you know brick walls and all that. Good luck with yours, Gen |

Yes, I have enjoyed doing look-ups for others. My subs. for Ancestry are due for renewal, but can't decide whether or not to continue. Still need some kind soul to look up Robert Dinsdale, aged 3, born Yorks in Dales but no-one so far. Hazel |
