Thanks Jeanette and Bren. High and Low Abbotside are about 3 miles from Hawes and near Askrigg and Bainbridge. Is anyone able to take a look on the 1871 census. On the 1881, his ma and bros. live in Askrigg and pa is dead Hazel |

The 1881 census shows Robert Dinsdale age 13 b High Abbotside as an indoor servant to a farmer called Joseph Blakey at Showcote Low Abbotside The census shows 16 people called Dinsdale in High Abbotside Where in Yorkshire is High Abbotside? Bren |

I need to find out about Robert Dinsdale, born 1868, born High/Low Abbotside. Any help with 1871 Census for Yorkshire appreciated. Ta, Hazel |
