I want to request a copy of a death cert, could someone please advise me what information is supplied on one and will it help me with my family tree. Thanks Liz |

Hi Elizabeth, Depends who the cert is for as to what info you will find, slightly different info for men, married women and children. Have you checked out Barabra Dixons site. Very good for cert explanations. Take out brackets. http(:)//home(.)clara(.)net/dixons/ Click on GRO Certs link debbie |

name of deceased,age,where they died,date,name & address of informant,cause of death. George |

Have a few of these Husband, Mother and Father. Date and Place of Birth Name and Surname (Plus for Female Maiden Name) Date and Place of Birth Occupation and usual address. Name and surname of informant(could be husband wife etc) Qualification(means who the person is in relation to deceased) The informants usual address. Cause of death. Signature of informant Date of registration Signature of registrar. Sandra |
