Hi Pippa, I think this is your Mary Mayes; widowed in 1891. Charlotte and Alice are indexed as Mayes but on the actual schedule follow on from Alfred so should therefore be Haydon. RG12/1511, Folio 101, page 28 Cromer, Norfolk Chapel Street Mary Ann Mayes, head, wid, 67, living on own means, Norfolk Cromer Alfred J Hayson, son in law, mar, 38, bricklayer, Norwich Charlotte C Mayes, wife, mar, 31, Norfolk Cromer Alice M Mayes, daur, 14, Norfolk Cromer Emma. |
