Deleting YOUR CONTACTS

Is anyone else having trouble deleting contacts? I click on delete contact then it goes back to home page and when I go back to contacts it's still there. Is there a problem or is it my computer. (I have just had it fixed after weeks of problems). Lynne |

Hi Lynne I have just deleted an old contact about two minutes ago and had no problem. When I pressed delete I got another message to say that the information on the other persons contact list would also be deleted and did I wish to continue. I pressed yes and the contact disappeared. Hello Lynne I have never been able to delete my contacts they just won't go away. Thanks for putting this notice up maybe someone can help us now. Shirley |

Lynne I cannot delete contacts either. Could only be done by GC administrator and I'm not emailing them every time I want to delete so my list is like Topsy and has grown and grown. Beryl |

Hi I had this problem a while back, I contacted gc but couldnt understand a word of it. but someone on here I cant remember who suggested that I needed to update something it needed to be upgraded to a 3 and I was on a two whatever that means Im sure someone can remember. Once I had downloaded this thing it was fine Im hoping someone will remember this I think it was on one of Vivs messages on the guest board but you have to go back a long way. Debbie |

I had this problem some time back and GC gave me instructions as to what to do but..... I'm older now and have forgotten! I have been trying to delete contacts with no success. As I have been doing lookups for 40+ people and emailing results, the list is now rather long and no offence but I want to delete! So when you find out, please remind me. Jacky |

Hi all! I had this problem when I had my old computer, which was Windows 95. Are any of you using this? Now I have a new computer with Windows XP, I no longer have problems deleting. Dierdre X |

I have just deleted 5 contacts from my list with no trouble. However I am at work and it's XP here, my own computer is 98. I will try again at home tonight and see if it's anything to do with the windows version. Lynne |
