Copying data from another Tree

I totally agree Clare. I see people adding info on my family in their tree often and the info isn't even correct!!! Not being a full member I cannot contact these people to set things right but it seems they are getting the info from the same place as 2 members of my family always have their name spelt wrong!!....Oh Well....... |

Just a thought, and its been raised before but, its always polite to get permission from the 'treeholder' before you start copying someones hard work. |

Hi Steph, Thanks for the response. What I also find a little challenging is that you can find the multiple versions of the same person on the genes connected web site. How far back have you managed with your tree ? |

It seems a shame that when you get access to someone else’s tree that there is no easy way of copying data across to your own tree. Or is there? I sent an email to tech support but got the standard response rather than something useful. |
