I've just applied for the marriage certificate for my ggg Grandmother who married at the end of 1871. I'm thinking, in theory, this should have her home address on and I can then go back to the LONDON 1871 Census to find her parents and siblings. Can anyone verify this? Will the certificate from 1871 have an address and is the 1871 indexed (I'll be searching at the FRC next week if the cecrtificate arrives in time). And did they take details of the entire household appear in 1871? So many questions, so little time *sigh* Cheers, a slightly confused Zoe |

Hi, There may be an address on the cert, or just the parish. There is no index for the 1871 for London. Gwynne |
