You would probably be safer using a local genealogy reasearcher or History Society. Personally i would not risk it. Do you know any one that has recieved the world after being promised it !! No is the answer |

Is your reasearch hard to work out ? if so there are many people that would gladly help you out, there are alot of people that persue this as a hobby. get in touch with a look up exchange, perhaps if it was of use you could make a donation. |

If you have an idea about what part of the country they were from then try and get on to message boards and mailing lists for that specific area. You might get some help there. Look up the area on GENUKI, join the local FHS - they often have adverts from people who concentrate or research in that area. Have you looked at one-name / surname mailing lists and message boards? Have done a WWW search on the name with some qualifiers like "family history" - many surnames have specific boards especially the more unusual ones. I have used a researcher and information waas crucial in opening up lots more information. There was nothing difficult about the research, it was just that i could not get to the PRO in person to do it. Martin |
