Hi I am trying to search for one of my grandmother's brothers who emigrated to Woga Woga (not a joke and not sure I spelled it correctly) between 1901 and 1930. Not sure which brother but it would be either John Hoyes b1882, Thornton W Riding Yorkshire or Nicholas Hoyes b1893, Kendal, Westmoreland. Hope this works Kind regards Ingrid |

G'day Ingrid. The correct spelling for the town you are looking for is Wagga Wagga. But you are correct in how it is pronouced...lol I would love to help you out. Give me a day or two and I will do some lookin up for you. Wagga Wagga, or just plain Wagga as we call it here, is in New South Wales and is a large-ish town (by Aussie standards!) and has a history of producing some great aussie sportspeople. Get back to you soon, Ingrid. Jenny in Aus |
