Iv'e already got my tree on genes connected, but on another site gencircles i think i have to have a gedcom file. Ive tried to load gedcom, but do i have to delete my existing tree first? elainex |

Elaine Trees cannot be exported from the Genes Connected site, you can only import a tree. If you want to get your details on the GenCircles site (or any other that accepts Gedcom files) you would have to create your tree from scratch on some other family tree software. You can buy the software but if you are new to this hobby and don't want to fork out just yet. try the software that's FREE from the LDS familysearch site. It's basic, but OK for beginners (like me) who don't want to print out complicated charts or things like that. Go into downloads on the LDS menu bar and I think it's called PAF5. |
