Hi Jacqueline. Many men serving in the Forces in the Second World War were conscripted under the National Service Act and were more normally known as conscripts. You would find them the same way as you would find any other service personnel of that time. What do you know of the person you are trying to find? Can I help. Keith |

hi keith, i am looking for a thomas mccarroll who served with the the highland light infantry glasgow regiment. do you know if it would be possible to find any others with the same surname from glasgow who may have served on national service. thanks, jackie. |
