Can some kind person with access to 1841 for Manchester please look up James Cresswell and Sarah (nee Stafford) at Cow Lane, Newton, Manchester. There should be a child called Ann, aged approx. 3 years. Any other available info, eg. ages, places of birth or other children, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Lynne |

As this posting has been on the board for almost a week with no response, it is obvious no-one has access to the 1841 census. Can someone please tell me where I can get access or purchase it from? Thanks in advance Lynne |

Hi Lynn, You can go to any LDS centre and order a film of the census there for a small fee. They will phone you when it arrives and you can book a reader and search it there. Also the censuses are at the FRC in London and the County record office. Gwynne |
