Does the 1851 census cover the whole of London or is it just the city? Is it something you can buy? I have just discovered some of my family around Shoreditch, Bethnal Green and Islington. Would it cover Lambeth and Southwark? Sorry for all the questions but it might be worth my while obtaining it. Shirley |

Shirley it covers all of the above, but it is only Street indexes i.e you have to know the Street where your family lived, or be prepared to look through it all, it's quite hard to read as they are the original pages, there are 31 CD's in all. If you have names and addresses I will look them up for you, not til later though as Arsenal are on in a minute! Lynda |
