Carol Thanks very much. Hannah Josephine Campbell IS my GG Grandmother, but her father (according to marriage cert) was called John. I think I might have to bite to bullet and subscribe to US Ancestry (already subscriber to Ancestry) but it wont let me access US Censuses for 1850. Thanks again Caroline

My GG Grandmother , Hannah Campbell, was born in Pennsylvania, US in 1841- married (James Clent) in Birmingham 1863- I have the wedding cert. I can find her on 1881 Census, with this place of birth, but no more exact info. I would like to find out where she was born, and when she travelled to the UK. I would dearly love a little help or advise- Thanks Caroline
