Also am looking for one specific George Thresher, died between 1905 and 1932, its taking me ages to go theough 1837 on this one, I htink he may have died in Hemel Hempstead. Hi Judith, I couldn't find William, sorry. The records for the 1900s are very sparse. There are 46 Lonsdales listed for the 1800s over all of Co. Durham and 2 for the early 1900s. If I can help again as you get further back just let me know. Good luck. Yvonne
