Does anyone know of anything that is available to help me decipher handwriting on certificates.I have tried and tried and now my eyes are cock-eyed from looking lol any help or advice warmly welcomed kaz |

Kaz I think the best way is often to ask someone else. I have had a lot of help from other researchers in local studies libraries, often because they have spent the last few years reading this type of handwriting. If you can get a pdf file to me I can take a look, if you would like. Best wishes Neil |

Go to the ancestry co uk site, then click for 1891 census. On the left there is a handwriting help. |

Try enlarging the part with your scanner, and also compare other letters which you know is right. Joan |
