Thanks Jan, I thought this one would be difficult. If Joseph is the same person as Jesse then he would probably be 10, perhaps a bit young to be a witness ?. Any of the Josephs born in Shepton Mallet or Kilmersdon? I'm cluching at straws now! Not sure about the Guppys yet, Clara was born 1860 in Frome. |

What age would Joseph be in 1891? I've found several born in Somerset, aged 10, 12, 15, 37 (convict) and 58. Jan. |

I'm looking for Joseph Perkins, last known address in 1881 could have been Ashwick Somerset when he may have been known as Jesse. Cannot be sure these are one and the same however. Unable to find Jesse who would be about 12, and a Joseph was a witness on an 1890 wedding certificate in Downside Somerset. Also looking for Clara and Henry Guppy~ Somerset. Thankyou in advance, Marion |
