1861 Cheshire census look-up please.

Would like to know where Martin & Emily Bagshaw and two daughters (one my Gt. Grandmother Margaret) & Elizabeth, were living in 1861. Martin & Emily married in Manchester in 1847 but I believe they then moved to Stockport. Emily died in 1869 aged only 39 years. Most grateful for any help, thankyou. |

The 1861 Lancs census is not surname indexed....you need an address pr at least a street name to have any hope of a lookup. Sue |

apoligies Christine....I just saw Manchester and thought Lancs. You may be luckier with the Cheshire 1861 as it was certainly not as densely populated as Lancashire. How I wish my Lancs was surname indexed! good luck Sue |
