Ok I have Riley's dad and have found him on the 1871 census. I can't find his birth on GRO or his marriage so I need to find where he was in 1861. I know this is inlikely but worth a try. Robert Ferguson born c1841 Middlesex. He could either be there or Nottingham or Lancashire. His wife is Mary Ann c1839 but they may not have been married then. I suspect they were married c1862. Any help appreciated. John PS update on Riley/Ripley for those following the saga....... I now have all his brothes and sisters births. Found Riley etc was christened a Lionel. lol |
