Haven`t seen anything anywhere. Probably just a case of looking now and then to check. |

Hi, I get the freereg mailing list and yesterday i had this sent, well part of the mail.I have copied and pasted part of it. I hope it is ok doing this........ The search engine is done, ........has data for testing, next is when time permits by programmers who know Java to make the whole thing *live* This is our problem as I see it, it was done in Java rather that *Perl* as was FreeCEN No I am not getting at any one But having said all that, we need a lot more data in readiness, I get stuff on a weekly basis from various sources, and promise of more to come, so it IS going to work, eventually Cheers Dave |

Ann Freereg is attempting to provide access to Church Parish Registers - i.e., pre-1837 - which would be fantastic, but what a task discyphering all that ancient handwriting!! I was hoping to join transcribers for FreeBMD but have been unable to access the site for a few days now. I wonder when the problem will be fixed!! Kathy |
