Hi Penny, if you dont mind would you try and do another look up for me. Trying to go down a different route. A marriage between James Shaw and Sarah Parkes please. I haven't been able to find it so far. James birth, c1842 and Sarahs c1844 so probably around 1860 onwards. I think Sarah may have died between 1881 and 1891 because she is not on 1891 census and James is down as widow. Fingers crossed for something! Thanks, Jo |

Hello Penny Could you possibly look for a birth for me? I am hoping to find David Albert Hargreaves birth to Thomas Hargreaves around about 1832 and maybe in Manchester. I would love to know who is mother was. Thanks, Carol. |

Hi Penny, thanks for the look up. I don't think my James Shaw is amongst the ones you sent. His age has been pretty consistant through the census. A big thanks though. Best wishes, Jo. |

Hi Penelope, I bet you're rueing the day you posted your kind offer judging by the response! Please could you do some look ups on the Devon 1851 census for me? They are two married couples - Thomas and Mary Abbott in Seaton and Beer, and Jonathan and Susannah Marshall in Uplyme. Both couples could be aged anything between 70 and 90! Knowing my lot they will have popped their clogs long ago but it's worth a try! If they are living with anyone else would you be able to let me know? Thanks ever so, Jane |
