From the 1891: Thomas Nettleton, 20, Ironmongers Assistant, born Bury, Lancs. Annie Nettleton, 23, born Wolverhampton, Shropshire. living at 232 Bolton Road, Holcombe, Tottington Lower End, Lancs. At 21 Harlow Street, Horwich: William Nettleton, 62, Railway Labourer, born Ferry Bridgs, Yorks. Johanna, 55, Bury, Lancs. Frederick, Married, 23, Coppersmith, Birkenhead, Cheshire. Ellen, Married, Daughter in law, 22, Dressmaker, Bury, Lancs. Jessie, 19, Cotton Weaver, Bury. Sarah, 17, (no occupation shown) Bury. E. E. Jardine, Grand daughter, 3, Bury. The person who wrote the original forms just put initials to begin with, then the names were squeezed in over the top. For Johanna originally it looked like Joha, knowing what it should be I could work it out, but I can understand the transcriber getting it wrong. Glad to have found at least one Jardine for you. Jan

This is really wonderful. I appreciate it very much. If I takeout the subscription Jan, is it possible to save or printout the viewed images?

Yes, you can print out the images, so you have a copy of the actual hand written 1891 census form. I love it. Just looking at the above, are Frederick and Ellen the parents of Thomas, Ethel, Richard and David? If so, then the E.E. is presumably Ethel. Jan.
