Great one if ancestors from Durham , apologies if already put on: Durham Records Online For a small fee, you can search 1841/1851/1861 census, BMDs, plus useful info on the area, Also another brill site, Durham Mining , just do a search and it will come up, fascinating stuff in here. Angie |

Hi Linda, You would do better to 'Copy & Paste' into 'Word'. Highlight the section to be copied - by left clicking on your mouse- Drag it across the section - release and right click on your mouse and select 'Copy' - open word, select a blank page and 'Paste' To save the document: Under File, choose 'Save As'. As you add to the document over the coming weeks, choose 'Save'. I start a new document each month. This month under the heading - GC012004. Hope this makes sense and is of help?! Good luck Kathy |

Just to say this thread is really getting long and has some great web addresses but for someone reading it for the first time is there an easier/quicker way of taking a copy of the sites than a good old pen & Paper? Help from anyone appreciated. |

Hi, Here are 2 good sites for passenger lists. www(.)immigrantships(.)net. www(.)genealogylinks(.)net. On home page click on England, then click on Passenger lists. Also found this one which might just interest someone. After all, I guess even crooks can become addicted to genealogy. It's www(.)crooksreunited(.)co(.)uk, and it says on the home page, "find your old cell mates here. Read their success stories. (At getting away with it,or cleaning up their act?) Share their recipes.
