Came across this site earlier - suspect it would be helpful for anyone who has an ancestor who died whilst serving in the Metropolitan Police Service. www.met.police(.)uk/history/ There's a roll of honour and a book of remembrance for serving officers dating back to 1829. Gives name of officer and details of the incident that either resulted in death or serious injury. Emma.

Cemetery Junction: http://www.daddezio.com/cemetery/ This site is about helping the genealogy community find information about their ancestors. Cemeteries are an excellent source for genealogy, and are especially prone to surprises! Many of the cemeteries in this directory are linked to transcriptions entered by volunteers. Judy

http://www.calverley.info/ fantastic site of information relating to Calverly Parish in North Riding also has loads of material, census records, parish records and war memorials on the villages of Farnley and Hampsthwaite - well worth a look if any of your relations come from this part of Yorkshire.
