This thread is one my favourite things about Genes Connected (or Genes Reunited as I undertand it is now called. I think we family historians are clever enough to cope with the old name but never mind). Anyway don't know if this is how you get the thread to the top of the list but here goes. Jenny

London Ancestors Look at http://booth.lse.ac.uk/ If you search the poverty maps you can find what sort of street your ancestors lived in during the late Victorian period. It is absolutely fascinating. I have spent hours reading the discriptions and looking at the maps. It puts flesh on the skeleton of the Metropolis.
