George and Rosemary I have sent you mail! If you look on Freecen site you will see that you need a pc and use of a microfiche reader although the 1861 that I am doing is on disc so it is easy and handy. regards Ann |

Thank you Devonshire Dumpling. I have just managed to track down the Hammond side of my family on the 1891 census, or at least some of them. I have only been at this for 2 weeks and was beginning to get down hearted as there are so many sites to search and I seemed to be getting nowhere. The FREECEN site has helped me enormously. Keep up the good work, it hopefully won't be long until I get back to the 1861!! Gratefully, Pam |

George what is Remember is it online or a magazine? I don't know wether she is one of my Lazenby's or not as most were from Darlington and North Yorkshire. But thanks for that anyway Ann |

Anne, What equipment and what expertise do you need to transcribe? So many people have helped me with finding information, it would be great to do something to help others. Rosemary(Chelmsford) |

Ann, Are you any relation to an Amy Lazenby who was a volunteer at Mission to Seaman,Middlesbrough, there is a picture in the latest Remember of her and other volunteers. It does'nt give a year though. |

It was the microfiche reader bit that put me off too, but thought if we all put our efforts into finishing FreeBMD first, then we can all put our efforts into FreeCen after. Val |
