Hi Maz Thought I'd add some, 'cause a branch of my family came from there. Willson family from Wisbech St. Peter Aveling family from Wisbech St. Peter possibly. My William Willson was the Justice of the Peace in Wisbech early in the 19th century, pre. modern police force, but haven't found any info on him at all. Mind you, I think there is info at the Cambs record office, but haven't managed to get there yet! Have looked on all the obvious sites with no luck so far. Don't know if you have come across any sites with this kind of information on??? Lisa x |
