I usually go on Manchester Gov.co.uk website, to search the burials, it is a free search but to actually go onto the grave records is about £12 for 4 credits. It lists Phillips Park, Southern Cemetery, Gorton and Blackley I think. I usually do a search then check the age on the bmds if I find one, and only then when I am 90% sure it is the one, do I go into the record. It then gives you the burial record, grave number, where they lived and another part gives you all the people actually buried in the grave. It is expensive so I only go on as I say to check out a cemetery and grave number so I can go and photograph the grave. Marilyn |
