Your best bet would be to get your maternal grandmother Edith Mary Whitehead birth cert........... that would confirm her fathers name and mothers maiden name and help you to trace the correct line of your family. |

I am looking for WELCH and GRAY/GREY especially the Maidstone area. I found a baptism for Charles WELCHGRAY Maidstone c1805 but I believe the parents to have been William Welch and Jane Gray. Have searched for a marriage for them but no luck so far. |

This is the volume and page no. for Rebecca Colemans marriage in 1852......... if you order the cert. it will confirm her husbands fathers name. Unfortunatly the groom isn`t listed on freeBMD, but if you quote Charles Reynolds groom as ref. checking point you will only be charged £3.00 if it is the wrong one. |
