Hello Sally Just got a new birth cert from GRO - pretty much per expected date (2nd class post on 12th, arrives 14th - seems ok to me!). John CHAPMAN b 26.5.1838 Sheepwash parents: John CHAPMAN (maltster) & Mary nee BALSDON of Sheepwash (doesn't say where/when the parents were born of course!) Hi Sally, Sorry to bother you again but could you possibly look up Charles Terdre in 1851 Plymouth census?He was in Charles Plymouth in the 1871 census I am hoping his daughter is with him Mary as she married my elusive Roskruge.Charles occupation was I think ropemaker and he was born in Plymouth. Hi Sally, You did a look up for this name quite a while ago now for me but had no luck in finding them.But could you please have a look at 18 Navy Row Stoke Damerel to see if a John,Mary and Harry Roskruge are there?This was their adress in 1848 when Harry was born.The name is probably miselt,John I think was born in Maker Cornwall.
