Thanks Sally Going back to Anning could you please look for a Benjamin Anning and Elizabeth Anning. In your previous message you mentioned their names. Benjamin married in 1803 to a Elizabeth Walker and had a daughter Elizabeth born circa 1908 in Devonport. Many thanks for doing these lookups Trudi

Hi Sally Thank you for look up re Elizabeth Smale, the information I got for place of birth was on the 1881 census, she was living in Ashton-u-Lyne Lancashire then. I think perhaps a northerner wouldn't quite understand a Devon accent as I could not find Exbourne on map, no disrepect to either Northerners or Devonians. Thank you for trying Frances
