Thank you for taking the time to write to us. We understand some of the people using the site prefer the old name to Genes Reunited. The change is just one of the things we're doing to make it easier for people who haven't yet caught the genes bug to understand what the site does. The Friends Reunited link is important to attracting new enthusiasts - which in turn makes the site better for the current users. The name change was genuinely the product of research we did and it seemed to make sense to us. Rest assured, the team here is dedicated to making Genes Reunited better and better - attracting new users, with new trees is part of this. Hope you understand - again, thanks for your valuable comments.
