Hiya All. I have just downloaded record/medal cards for my great grandad and his brother. The records are quie clear but im not sure what they mean or tell me. Other than they were in WW1!! Name : Parker Daveney Corps : W Yorks & Yorkshire and Lancashire regiment. Rank : Pte? Regtl No : 268556 & 263057 Below this it lists three medals. Victory British & Star My Great grandad has a roll and page number written at the side of the Victory & British. Does this mean he got them? IS the number important? Would i be right in thinking that all who took part recieved the victory medal? And whats the british? Thanks for reading this i look forward to your replys. Kelly xx |
