I knocked most of my real teeth out when I was 8 years old and the rest are full of fillings so at least I dont have to worry about dying of teeth....unless I get bitten by Marion's horse. Did you know you can get a coroners report if your relative died from "Visitation of God". On the same page as my unfortunate relative are the following: Compression of the brain That he shot himself being insane Found dead That he killed himself being insane Found drowned Disease of the head

Lyla LOL> that must be a record, thank god I've been there, and dont have to go there againLOL>>......Phew......... All these dubiuos causes of deaths certified by Doctors, makes me wonder what will happen when people are looking up what happened to us, will the medial profession and society get so far advanced that whats written on todays certs will be laughed at in 100 years time. Hopefully nobody will see things like teeth.......... Pat x

I just looked up my ggrandmother's death which was due to climacteric disease. It seems to be a condition of the menopause. Okay fair enough but she was 82 years old when she died!

I wonder how long it will be before someone on a soap dies of one of the causes listed here? They must get their inspiration from somewhere... My bets are on the dodgy pies, but I'd love to see someone die of teeth! Carole

One g-grandfather died of 'pressure of dilated stomach on fatty heart' - sounds like a lot of meat pies over a number of years...!

A Great Aunt admitted to an asylum (early 1900's) for manic depression, stayed two years. On her release she walked out of the hospital fell down the front steps and broke her neck.

another great grandfather died in his early 50's of exhaustion. then I realised he had been a busy chappie - got a neighbour and gt gran with child at the same time and then when gt gran died a short while later he married the neighbour. In total gt granda fathered well over 20 children - neither wonder he was exhausted!!!!!

The owner of the eating house said "we have never had any complaints before" and "possibly 40 or 50 persons had meat pie on that day" So, if you have a missing relative in Tilbury Docks area in August 1900, could be he ate one of the other portions of pie!
