Scan-to-Order on National Archives

Someone based overseas (Canada, I think) was lamenting her inability to nip over to the National Archives at Kew. I had thought there was a scan-to-order facility for items not already available on Docs Online and have found the URL for the info about it: http://www.documentsonline.nationalarchives.gov.uk/about-sod.asp It costs a minimum of £10 to request an estimated cost for the scanning, but that forms the first £10 of the final payment. It would have to be extraordinarily expensive to be more expensive than travelling here from overseas - unless you want lots of documents, of course! Hope that's useful for someone. Christine |
