Jonathan, if you have a large item like that, it may be better to state local collection only. Where abouts are you? I certainly wouldn`t chance posting something like that, the way the Royal Mail throw things around. |

I'm sure it will work, it sounds like what the problem is. I just hope my explanation didn't confuse you any. |

Jonathan Parcel Force is quite good you can send really heavy parcels quite cheaply ,you should try it only trouble is its as addictive as this game so the ironing never gets done till we are running out of clothes |

Often thought about ebay but don't know how I would send big items ... I've got a 3.5ft vivarium that I want to sell but have not got a clue how to send it off! |

I have selling all sorts. Just generally clearing out the clutter. CDs at the moment, but last week I sold a load of parish records in booklets which I bought in error. Grandparents born in Hull but their parents came from elsewhere. |

Ah now I see .... If you hover your mouse between where the favourites bar joins the web page your cursor should change into a two headed arrow (pointing to right and left). When this happens left click and hold the mouse button down and drag the cursor (along with the bar) to the left to make the window smaller. Does that makes sense ? Jon |

What sort of things do you sell on ebay Valerie? I have just spent the best part of today wrapping and packing ready for the post tomorrow. |

Oh okay, We'll have to see if we can narrow down what the problem is then .... 1. Is the text the same size as it has always been or has it got bigger/smaller? 2. Is it only Internet Explorer/Netscape Navigator that has been affected or is it all your programs? Jon |

Hi Valerie, Look to see what your text size is set at..... Go to view, scroll down to text size. Set it a smaller text, then change the screen size as others advised you, and see if that works. Cazza |

Val, Have you maximised the window by pressing the box shape at the top right (next to the 'x') ?? |

XP is the same although I would be inclined to have the resolution at 1024x768 as this will fit everything on the screen without the bottom scrollbar! Rgds Jon |

Minimise this window (click on the "-" at top right). Right click on your Desktop. Select Properties - then Settings - there should be a slider to change the screen resolution. Choose 800x600 pixels (this will give you full width display) then "Apply" (and confirm any other messages it throws up). This is for Windows98 - I expect XP is probably similar. |
