Due to the parental control list installed with the Norton I have I normaly have to by pass it inorder to get on this site and a few others. Over the weekend when I did this ayellow and white box appeared -Program Control telling me logon.exe was attempting to get into the computer and giving me the option to block or allow. However the box was fixed on block, the cursor turned into the egg timer icon and I couldn't click on anything not even to switch the computer off. I cleared my files and cookies, did a virus check which was clear and went through all the Norton Security items I could find but no luck. Sheer fluke I'm here now ! Also tried to temporarily disable Norton but am not authorised to do this it says - computer belongs to my employer and the company had the Norton prog. installed. Hope this all makes some sort of sense to someone and really hope someone out there can help. Its driving me mad ! Mary |
