Hey Mike, nice to see you've missed me, and your prozac consumption hasn't decreased any!! Don't worry, I have decided to give you a break (for now), am still stuck on my Sutherlands from Scotland (I'll see you in about 10 years then!!) Greeting's again Geraldine..... I'm over at the Local Scout Camp site at Markfield (Warden Duties).... So not a problem mind you I've have not seen a Church yet on the map so fingers crossed .....:0)) Maybe the Vicar was slightly "Mutton Jeff" and thought they said Anna ?.... By the way on one of my disks I have "Warner Events" in Newtown Linford from 1726 through to 1936.... and the 1st record of Warner's in Thrussington = 1626. So we might get back that far one never knows...... MIKE. |

Hello there Mike, Checked the info out you gave me, the Martins and the Ansteys were the correct one but the Bertha Newton wasnt the one, never mind though, im very happy you got me the next generation. Bertha Newton MAY BE Nottinghamshire or at Sutton Bonnington, my mum cant quite remember. Thanks again love Philippa.:) |

Thanks very much, Mike, I shall contact you directly. Copper plate script does add to the challenge of reading handwriting, I know. I imagine in a big task like this there will be some errors - I think the disk is very new, so the database will probably need fine-tuning as people actually use it. Christine |
