Hi can anyone shed some light - I believe I have now found my ggrandfather on the 1891 census aged 13, the census says 'inmate' as his conditions. Although I'll have to order the cert to make sure, I believe that I have foundhis father, William snrs, death in Poplar Sept.1888 this would make Edward 9 or ten when he died, so might this be some sort of 'poor school' as he was a minor?
